Last year, over 2,700 students in T&W writing workshops across the city lit up with inspiration and reveled in the power and magic of their own words. Over 100 older adults learned new skills in our creative aging programs. And educators across the country found valuable lesson plans and other classroom tools from Teachers & Writers Magazine.

You can light the spark of inspiration in a child today, through a gift to our annual fund. Please join the T&W family of supporters. Your tax-deductible gift to the annual fund helps to seed future generations of readers and writers through innovative programs that share the joy of creative expression.

"T&W truly benefited our students' love for writing and poetry. We had students who didn't enjoy writing, but after T&W and [Teaching Artist] Mr. Matthew, they look forward to writing/poetry. The process of revising and editing their pieces for the anthology also helped them to understand that those are important components of writing. Mr. Matthew's passion for poetry and teaching poetry was evident in his planning and in the way he executed his plans to our students. The students were engaged and motivated to learn poetry and to write poetry. We enjoyed the program greatly and we hope to work with T&W again!"
