Join us for a celebration in support of the literary arts!

Join us for a fun night of cocktails, poetry, and a silent auction in the heart of New York City! We hope this evening will feel like a reunion for those who have worked with and supported T&W throughout our 50+ year history. At the T&W Homecoming, you'll hear about the work we're doing from some of our teaching artists, enjoy a reading of student poetry, and catch up with T&W colleagues and friends over food and drinks. You'll have the chance to bid on some exciting auction items (including vintage T&W apparel) and view an exhibit of photos and writing from our archives. All proceeds from this event will support the essential, transformative work of Teachers & Writers Collaborative.

Teachers & Writers Collaborative (T&W) is one of the first writers-in-the-schools organizations, with a 50+ year history of offering innovative creative writing programs led by published writers.

T&W celebrates the imagination through transformative writing and arts education for youth and lifelong learners. Our programs and publications inspire classroom innovation and create greater equity in and through the literary arts.

Our programs include: writing workshops for youth, art workshops for seniors, and training for teachers. In addition, T&W hosts the NY Poetry Out Loud recitation competition and the NY Youth Poet Laureate program for teens in New York State. To support the teaching of creative writing, we publish Teachers & Writers Magazine and an assortment of books for educators. Learn more at: https://twc.org.
